The Saturday Edit

Weeeeekend!!! That’s my usual Friday evening yelp of happiness. Not that the weeks themselves are bad (they are not, I am literally living my dream with this blog and podcast), but there is something special about a weekend for someone who has spent the last almost 20 years working weekends. Alas, the months of wedding-less weekends at home are coming to and end soon as California has finally (!) announced some guidelines for weddings and we are set to begin again beginning April 15th! It’s a welcome return to some sense of normalcy.

Since it is the weekend, I thought I would share some of the good things I found around the internet this week.

This Sydney Harbor wedding featured on The Lane would be my goal wedding (and dress and shoes) if I were not already married!

Anytime I run across a feature shot at one of my favorite venues, I’m thrilled to see it. Add in the fact that I have worked with most of the vendors involved on this gorgeous shoot, and I feel like a proud Mom! Sherwood Country Club is one of my faves, and I’ve planned so many wedding there that I’ve nearly lost count. One of my client’s weddings was featured on SMP a couple of years ago, and it’s still one of my favorite days ever.

I’m on the hunt for a few pieces of furniture, including a new chair for my bedroom. This chair by Safavieh is so pretty, that maybe I would be inspired to not pile my clean clothes on it!

It’s Bridal Fashion week and I’ll be sitting front row (at home on my computer!) to bring you highlights from the shows. I’m excited to see what some of my favorites are doing for the new season!
